Job Responsibilities,
✔️Operate Imaging Equipment Set up and safely operate X-ray, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy machines according to departmental protocols.
✔️Prepare & Position Patients Ensure patient comfort and correct positioning for accurate imaging, while explaining procedures clearly.
✔️Ensure Radiation Safety Follow strict safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary exposure.
✔️Capture & Review Diagnostic Images Produce high-quality radiographs and ensure they’re properly labeled, stored, and uploaded to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
✔️Assist Radiologists Support in fluoroscopic exams and other procedures requiring real-time imaging.
✔️Maintain Equipment & Supplies Monitor machine performance, report faults, and manage inventory of imaging accessories.
✔️Documentation & Confidentiality Record procedures, maintain patient privacy, and comply with hospital and SCFHS standards.
