Job Responsibilities
Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures (angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, etc.).
Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms before, during, and after procedures.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and contrast agents as prescribed.
Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment, ensuring proper setup and sterile field.
Provide immediate response in case of cardiac emergencies (e.g., arrhythmias, cardiac arrest).
Educate patients and families about procedures, post-procedure care, and recovery instructions.
