Key Responsibilities of Registered Nurse

Our Expectation on Role :
The Staff Nurse will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and medical standards. Duties include monitoring and assessing patient conditions, recording vital signs, administering medications and injections as prescribed by physicians, and promptly reporting any changes in patient health. The nurse will assist doctors during medical procedures, surgeries, and emergency situations, ensure proper preparation and post-procedure care of patients, and maintain accurate nursing and medical records. Responsibilities also include maintaining infection control practices, ensuring cleanliness and safety within the ward, ICU, OT, or emergency unit, educating patients and their attendants about treatment plans, medications, and recovery care, and providing emotional support to patients and families. The Staff Nurse must coordinate effectively with doctors, technicians, and other healthcare staff, follow duty schedules and shift rotations, comply with ethical and professional nursing standards, and contribute to maintaining high-quality patient care and hospital service excellence.
